Center Parcs is Europe’s market leader in the field of short holiday breaks for families, with holiday resort parks in the Netherlands, Belgium, England, France and Germany.

Mr Thomas Hackett, born in Berlin on 05.05.69, was employed with us as F & B Controller from 1. March 1995 until 31. August 1997.

His duties included:

• Supervision, securing and optimising the flow of goods, stock turnover, meeting quality and quantity demands of sales products in the branches Retail and Catering
• Generating statistics and analysis including forecasting, comparison of sales and purchases, menu-engineering, sales-mix, cost/profit and budget calculations, stock control, inventory evaluation
• Revision of supplier prices and contract terms

Owing to his praiseworthy performance during the opening of our park in Spring 1995, he was further assigned the following responsibilities:

• Supervision of the Control Department for Catering, Retail and Stores Operation
• Conception of the Standard Control Guidelines for Food and Beverages
• Instructing and supporting personnel in the field of F&B Data Processing
• Purchase and Order Control
• Duty manager as designated: responsibility, as Deputy, for Guests’ Satisfaction and efficient Staff Operation

Mr Hackett always fulfilled his duties with great intensity and concentration. He was an enduring dependable employee who also mastered all duties well under difficult working conditions. Mr Hackett always executed tasks conscientiously and accurately. The quality of his work was good. Rate and Quantity of work lay above our demands and expectations. He always fulfilled his duties to our complete satisfaction.

Owing to his factual and obliging manner, Mr Hackett was appreciated and popular with superiors and colleagues. His conduct towards guests and business relations was also exemplary. Mr Hackett readily put company concern in front of personal interests.

Mr Hackett is leaving us of his own volition. We thank him for his good performance and regret the loss of this good employee. We wish Mr Hackett success and all the best for his future professional and personal goals.
